If you are looking for a classic gold bracelet to stack with other fashion bracelets, this is it! This is a 3 mm smooth round gold bead with a beautiful and sturdy solid gold lobster clasp. Take a look at the pictures to see the scale of the 3 mm size compared to other widths and also to see the difference between a smooth round bead and a patterned bead. Both are available in my store.

Details:
—3 mm “heavywall” 14 karat gold beads. This heavywall style is more resistant to life’s dings.
—14 kt gold swivel lobster clasp makes putting this bracelet on a snap. The swivel really makes a difference!
—3 links at the end to give you some wiggle room in your sizing.
—For reference sake, a 6” circumference wrist would be most comfortable in a 6 1/2” bracelet. To find your size, measure your wrist end to end and then size up a 1/2”
—This is not a gold plate or gold fill. This bracelet is a solid 14 Karat gold bead. 14 karat means that this bead is 58.3% pure gold. 24 karat gold refers to metal that is 100% pure gold. Gold used in jewelry making is usually 14 or 18 karat gold because it is relatively hard and more durable than 24 karat gold. 24 k is very soft and scratches easily.

Also, round gold bead bracelets are available in every size from 2.5 mm-8 mm in my Etsy store.

To make sure there is full transparency to my customers, I am always willing to show my invoices of my sourced gold beads. I order my gold from a very reputable company in New Mexico that is a leader in the precious metals jewelry market. Sometimes someone will question whether or not this is real 14 karat gold since each individual bead is not stamped with a quality marking. Please rest assured that I take my honesty and integrity very seriously.

14 karat gold is 58.3% pure gold. It is mixed with other metals such as silver, copper, or palladium to make the alloy more durable. Otherwise, pure gold is too soft to be used in bracelets. A common test to measure if something is pure gold would be to see if it was magnetic. Pure gold is not magnetic. This test doesn't work very well with 14 karat gold because there is roughly 40% of the alloy that is magnetic. The magnetic test does work well with 18 karat gold (which is 75% pure gold)

My bracelets are strung on a sterling silver plated stainless steel wire that has 49 strands all bound together. It is very strong.

Please ask me any questions you may have. This is an expensive piece and I want you to have full confidence in purchasing a beautiful gold bracelet from my store.
